I am reading Life of Pi and wanted to share a couple things I read.
Pi was attending Christian, Hindu, and Muslim all in the same week. It was his parents and esspecially the religious leaders who told Pi he couldn’t do that, that he had to chose one or the other, that he couldn’t be all. I have to go with Pi, and what he believed. All contain good.
The next is a quote from page 119. “Hope fed on hope”. From the paragraph, hope from the first rays of light, hope increased like a song in his heart, a source of hope to string those words together in his mind.
If this strikes your interest read the book, even if you saw the movie, I have to say reading the book too is worth the effort. The author I think did a good job.
Thanks Deb for the birthday present.
